Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe who on June 28, 2013 united myself and

Dahlia. On this day, You Lord guided myself to a close family friend Cheryl to cross paths.

This is where it all started, this is the moment you introduced to me to my future wife. Thank

you Lord.

On June 30, 2013 Dahlia emailed me and the journey began. Both of us, half way around the

world from each other, spoke every morning and every evening without fail. My excitement

was second to none and my heart was filled with pure joy. As time went on, we fell in love!

My visit to the Philippines for the first time sealed my love and feelings for Dahlia, Queenie, and

Princess. I wanted to know where she was all my life. Dahlia and I were truly blessed. The

journey of exploring each other’s cultures, families, and lives. I was not disappointed.

Fast forward to October 5, 2014, the date that Dahlia, Queenie, and Princess arrived in Minot,

North Dakota. It was cold and windy! I always wanted to know how they felt leaving their

country (from a city) to come to a new country, new home to Minot, North Dakota – did I

mention it was cold? I can only imagine how scared they were.

In 2017, I introduced Dahlia to Montana – and she loved it. When the opportunity came to

move to Montana, we jumped on board and found ourselves in Missoula. This is where we

wanted to live the rest of our days. The friendships we have made are priceless. The church we

joined is heavenly.

Until this day, Dahlia and I are inseparable – all of our free time is with each other. But this love isn’t by chance. It stems from our Lord Jesus Christ. Without Him, our

relationship would not have been possible and what a journey it has been!
